Who We Serve

Healing in Movement centers survivors of domestic as well as sexual violence and creates opportunities for people to reconnect with their bodies, explore movement, and build supportive community at their own pace.

We can look like:

  • Survivors of sexual violence

  • Survivors of intimate partner violence

  • Survivors of other forms of interpersonal violence

  • People at different stages of their healing journey

  • Participants who may or may not identify with the word “survivor”

Your Story Belongs to You

You do not need to share your trauma story to participate in Healing in Movement programming.
We do not require participants to disclose experiences of violence in order to receive support through our programs.

You can choose your level of participation, take breaks, modify activities, or opt out.
